In honor of National Hospice and Palliative Care month, Hospice of Laramie is proud to sponsor the screening of the film Defining Hope in Laramie. Defining Hope follows eight patients with life-threatening illness, and the nurses who guide them to make critical choices along the way as they face death, embrace hope, and ultimately redefine what makes life worth living.
Following the screening of this film we will have a 15 – 20 minute Q&A session with a professional panel that will discuss various topics from the film.
The Film Screening will be at the Regal Theater on Sunday, February 18th at 4:00pm.
Tickets are only $10 but must be purchased in advance but tickets are limited and on a first come, first serve basis.
Each year Hospice of Laramie (HOL) is honored to serve the public with our Community Memorial Service. This Memorial allows the opportunity to reflect and respect those in our community who have passed.
Hospice of Laramie invites the community to the Annual Community Memorial Service commemorating patients who have passed this last year. Anyone in the community is welcome to be a part of the service. This is a time for families and the community to come together and reflect on the life of their loved ones.
The Memorial will be held at:
Hospice of Laramie House, 1754 Centennial Dr. Thursday, Aug. 24th, at 4 p.m.
HOL offers bereavement services to families whether or not they have been served by Hospice. These services may include individual counseling and bereavement support groups geared toward providing support to those in mourning over the loss of a loved one.
For more information about the memorial service or HOL’s bereavement services, please call Karen at 307-745-9254
